VINTAGE DINNER - Help us kick-off our HarvestFest
Celebration with Happy Hour from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Our 9th Annual Vintage Dinner will follow at Historic Rooney Park's Large Community Hall. Come and enjoy a delightful meal and more as well as a variety of Texas Wines and premium beers. Entertainment for the evening will be a live Auction with items provided by your Texas Wineries! Your $35.00 ticket includes Happy hour, your meal, wine and beer and a collectable wine glass or beer mug. To make your reservations today call: (432) 336-8525 ext. 17.

STREET DANCE
Dance under the stars from 9:00 p.m. to 12 midnight to varieties of music. Old West Saloon will be Open. ID will be required! Please bring your lawn chair.

Saturday, August 26th

WINE EMPORIUM
Taste a variety of Texas wines. Import & Premium Beers also available. Appetisers will be served throughout the day from our local restaurants. ID required. Collectable glass or mug and coupans for tasting included in your $15 entry fee. Open from 12 noon to 9:00 p.m. Eight (8) Texas Wineries cofirmed so far!

STAGE ACTIVITIES
Activities will take place between 10:00 and 7:00 p.m. which will include Balloon Launching Contest, Hot Dog Eating Contest, Christinas Dancers, The Chino/Dino Band and other talent! Anyone interested in volunteering to show talent must contact Anna Reed at (432) 360-9024.

FARMERS MARKET
Local and Area Farmers will be selling their produce. There is no charge for farmers wishing to sell their produce. These vendors will be located at the south end of the park.

OLD WEST SALOON & STREET DANCE
Various beers and wines will be available in the Old Saloon of the Wild West located on the Island in front of the Large Community Building. Open 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. I.D. required! HarvestFest Koozies available. Alcoholic Beverages and Soft Drinks purchased by coupon.

Dance with Colorado's Country/Rock Band - Chute #9!, from 9:00 p.m. - 1:00 a.m.

CAR SHOW
Registration: 8:00 a.m. to 12 Noon at Pavillion #1!. Registration fee is $25.00. Judging at 1 p.m., awards at 4 p.m. Door plaques for first 100 entries, Raffle Prizes! 30 Classes with 1st, 2nd and 3r place trophies for each. For more information, contact Randy or Donna Archer at (432) 336-3832.

FUN RUN, 2006
Saturday, August 26th, 5K Road Race, 5K Fitness Walk and 1M Children's Fun Run. 5K Walk begins at 7:15 a.m. amd 5K Run race begins at 7:30 a.m. 1M Children's Fun Run immediately after 5K Fitness Walk. Pre-registration fee $12 (day of race $15.00). Children's Run $8.00 (pre-registration $6.00). Registration begins at 6:30 a.m. day of Race at BBQ Pit #2. WINE PEDAL BIKE TOUR
Saturday, August 26th for your bike riding enthusiasts! Register for a Bike Pedal Tour that will end up at the Winery, approximately 26 miles from the Large Community Building at Rooney Park. Registration is $15 per person. The degree of difficulty is moderate and there will be two rest stops where plenty of beverages and fresh fruit will be available. A Sag Wagon will be available for minor repairs. Register at the Large Community Building from 7:00 - 8:15 a.m. For more information, contact Houston McKenzie at (432) 395-2250!

KIDZFEST CORNER
New Location at the South Children's Playground Area!
This year our Children's activities will be housed in Pit #3 - close to the Farmers Market and the Car show! Children will be entertained with lots of fun activities, including a variety of inflated toys, arts & crafts and more. For more information contact Vicki Mitchell at (432) 336-2228.

HARVESTFEST 2006 MEN'S SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT
$500 Grand Prize for Winning Team, $250 Second Place team. Tournaments start Friday, August 26th. Entry fee is $150 per team. For more information contact Manual Natividat or Alicia Natividad at (432) 290-1920 or Hector Natividad at (432) 290-1910. Tournament sponsored by RIP.

ARTS AND CRAFTS BOOTHS
Numerous Arts and Crafts Vendors will be joining the festivities for the day. Lots of various items will be available for purchase. Some Crafters will even be demonstrating their talents throughout the day. Booth hours 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.!

FOOD, DRINK ETC
Enjoy a wide variety of delivious foods and snacks. Breakfast Burritos, Gorditas, Bar-B-Q, Turkey legs, Sausage on a Stick, Menudo, Funnel Cake, Curly Fries, Caramel Apples, Cotton Candy, Snow cones, Corn on the Cob and lots lots more!

Will be selling HarvestFest T-shirts, Wine Glasses, Beer Mugs and Koozies.
